Knukonceptz quality?

most of their shit is shitty tinned copper not pure copper. Everybody just likes them because they have a higher strand count. I would take my rockford or stinger wire over them any **** day.

and fyi, from what I have found all stinger wire is tinned along with almost all of the rockford fosgate wire I can find. so if knukonceptz is so shitty because it is tinned then you need to do some research

look at my above post. the good knu is tinned copper. I believe the tin helps the wire resist corrosion. The copper clad aluminum is the cheap shit. Just because it is tinned doesnt mean that it is shitty though
Thats what I was trying to say.

partexpress sells the same battery terminal as they do
knu price = $12

partsexpress price = $6.80

athough partsexpress conservitively rates it as a 4awg, it is the same terminal as knu sells

your paying for the name just as if you buy monster, it just isnt inflated as much

I have both terminals sitting here. The Knu does have larger inputs for the 1/0. I also drilled out one of my PE ones to match it. The P3's and Knu's are made in the same factory- I will place money on it.

Congrats on using your first post to make yourself look like a moron. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Tinned copper has one purpose only: Resist corrosion. It has no effect on flexibility, conductivity, etc. Its very common in the car audio community, and much better than pure OFC copper alone.

Their CCA wire is copper clad aluminum for a reason: Cheap. Sure its harder to work with, carries less current, but if its all you need then buy it.

FYI: I would stay away from any of their products that use Kompression fittings. They are a huge pain in the ***.

Indeed. but the 1/0 CCA wire is a bit bigger than copper wire, probably at least 1 size bigger. It can handle the same current that 1/0 copper wire can because of it.

I used some of there cheap 1/0 hlmx cable and probably wont order it again. I exspected it to be more flexible and I had an easier time fitting my kicker 1/0 in 1/0 terminals that the knu stiff shit

are you sure? Knu rates their cca wire for 250 amps, but their good stuff is rated for 300+ amps. maybe they just put that so you will buy the more expensive stuff:confused:

yeah, it is definitely over sized. it was a PAIN to get the wire in the fuse holders I bought from them.
