Knu flexible enough?? *pics*

i dont see how your doing that
your either putting alot of force to hold it in place at those angles + turns or something

the knu wire ive seen + played with was hard as shit just to get at a 90 degree angle going to amp power + ground
Exactly, mine is flexible but not that flexible. It will bend/ twist like that but it takes some force to hold it like that.

Tried Kicker?
yes I purchased a 6' section off of my friend for $6 for a comparison. The kicker hyperflex was just as difficult to loop. Kicker was easier the first few loops than after that they were both about the same. The kicker unraveled easier than the Knu but for a price value, Knu's hard to beat.

Next thing to compare is the jackets with heat, and which one holds up better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I would like to know this as well. That Kicker jacket does not seem to be as tuff as the Knu outer jacket.

I burned the jacketing off a 1ft piece of knu. It burns pretty good and smokes like crazy.

Have yet to do it to some kicker, i forgot where i put it..lol

The knu with the strip of colour in it is not flexible. The stuff that egg has is more flexible since it doesnt have that strip.

Put some kicker and some knu in the freezer and see which one is more flexible. Im going with kicker //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I agree about the freezer scenerio lol BUT lol try putting both near the manifold see which one holds up better. Im going with Knu //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif lmao I think that strip is just a color added to a group of strands??? Maybe Bill can chime in on that one.

Its nice wire and all, but I:rolleyes: must have missed when people started judging the quality of wire by how many times they can wrap it around their finger? Im sure it really saved your install when you can wrap your 1/0 in loops that are a smaller diameter than the next guy.

calm down serious sam......it's just for fun

All the Kolossus should be equally flexible, the split color should be identical. I suppose since there is an extra additive it could slighty alter flexibility. We have done some abraision testing on the ultraflex PVC, seems to hold up pretty well. I have not done any flame tests, but would image you'll get similar results.
