Oh lawds
Hey just wondering if anyone can help me out with this. Last night I woke up at like 4am, and it felt like my knee was on fire. Well not really my knee, but this spot right below my kneecap, where the actual joint is. But it burnt like hell whenever I straightened it or bent it. Anyone have any knowledge about this at all? Only thing I can think of is I was doing squats at the gym that night, and I may have hurt it then, but then again wouldnt I have known right away I messed it up? appreciate any help buy..

Yea but it was just in one centralized spot, maybe an inch or 2 in diameter. It almost disappeared after that night, but today at work it kinda started feeling sore, and if i press down on it hurt a lil bit. Ill check out that site tho

thanks.

go see a doctor, maybe when you were sleeping you messed something up in a weird sleeping position, i woke up one day and my left leg couldnt move, i had to go to the doctor and they put a cast on me for a week and i was set to go, this was when i was like 9-10.

might have bruised your bone or somthing...
if it keeps hurting - go see a doctor.
I thought that may have been it, or the bones were grinding together for some reason, since it only happened whenit was laid straight or when it was bent at a certain angel, it wasnt so bad transitioning from one position to the other. It doesnt hurt now, but if it does again I'll probably see someone.

Prolly worked it to much, sometimes you work out to much and you dont feel it until later that night or morning that it feels like your (leg, arm, finger , or private parts :) ) are about to fall off

ice down before you go to bed, take an painkiller like advil, then put on magic brown stuff called pk-5 they sell it at walgreens. its the best i dunno how it works but it takes the sunday morning pain out after a football game saturday. its most likely a pinched nerve or a slight speration of muscle and bone known as shin splints. if it doesnt go away in a week go to a doc.

Sounds to me like you deffinately irritated something. There are many thing it can possibly be.

1.) Water on the knee; this happens usually when you over-exert a joint in your knee and doing squats is deffinately one of the wort things ot do to your knee joints if you are not warmed up properly. This causes fluid to go to the knee to help 'heal' the area making it have a hot burning sensation to it that can often be painful.

2.)You could of very well just simply torn/pulled a ligament, tendon, muscle and when that happens, again all the blood rushed to the area to help 'heal' the wound, this results in swelling, which can lead to pain.

My best suggestion would deffinately be to immediately apply cold to the area and take ibruprofen or some anti-flamatory and to see a doctor A.S.A.P. if you wait too long and the fluid does not drain you could have even bigger problems and surgery might have to take place where they will have to drain the fluid manually

sounds awesome right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

so yea, that is my two cents.

ive had 4 surgeries because of a doctor, just make sure u get an appointment with a REAL doctor, or practitioner (sp?). dont just go to some walk in family clinic or ER at the hospital. 180 grand and 3 years on crutches later im still not as good as i used to be. my family is so lucky to have the insurance we have.

the problem was so obvious the doctor asked me to point at what looked wierd/wrong in the x-ray he personally took and i pointed at the exact damage. the ER NURSE DIDNT FIND IT! Fvck doctors.
