These are people whose kid played basketball with black kids his whole life, who had black kids spend the night at their house. I can only imagine what goes on in lesser educated and isolated homes. In fact, right before the election I overheard an old white lady stating that "Obama is a terrorist" as a fact. I assume all of these views are formed from the so obviously unbiased Fox News that definitely does not try to strike fear into it's viewers(ie: Beck/O'Reilly).

Americans have this sense of entitlement. They think they have the right to tell someone how much is "enough", what is "fair". The truth is, a person earns money, and the money they earned is their own. Other people should have no say so in how much that is. If you don't like the way the company treats its employees, you do not have to work there. In America you can use your own skill and industry to start your own business. Ryan (ram) is a good example of that. He has proved he doesn't have a lot going on upstairs, but yet he is still earning some profit with his designs. It's nobody's business what he chooses to charge for those. If you don't like the price, don't buy from him. So while I'm not arguing that employees deserve a decent wage etc, I AM saying that the market corrects itself. A business that pays its employees too much or too little will fail.
