Kinetik vs. Optima for my needs...

when the time comes to upgrade the battery what would be a better choice for my needs?

i am running a system with a moderate amount of power, nothing crazy so i don't need a bank of huge batteries. i am running a possible 1220 class A/B watts all at 4 ohm loads. 300 per side for my fronts and 620 for my sub. i just want something with a low ESR for those fast transients (to keep dimming to a minimum), and something that will let me sit and have it cranked for a while with the car off and not drop really fast. i like to sit for hour(s) at a time and play with it.

i know kinetik seems to be the better choice for people who have lots of power and need huge banks of batteries to even run their systems(the spl nuts). my system is just a nice little SQ oriented setup.

also will either one float at a higher voltage than my current stock battery?

agm batteries generally float at about 13v. (both are agm) if it were me i would go a kinetik hc2000 if i could get it to fit. back in the late 90's i had really bad luck with optima and the kinetik has it beat on reserve.
