i have the same dillema. with my stereo even partly up when the bass hits the needle falls. i have big 3 0/1, 0/1 power/ground, new 130a alt. i'm thinking battery is the problem. looking to get 2 g34's. what do you guys think?

Man you guys are crazy i am running a kinetik 2400 in my hood a hi out put alternator and 2600 rms i dont have a problem did the big 3 just get the biggest kinetik u can fit under the hood then get a ho alt then be done with it that way u have your old alt as a spare if somthing goes bad with your new you have enough battery power and your not dimming my lights dim but only in the car outside when i am driving if i go out side when i am bassing i can see them dim but when driving i can not tell a difference just invest a lil money and be done with it. But always get kinetik they are way better then optima i had both.

i dont have the money for a HO alt. if these guys can run 2.5kw+ on stock alt i should be able to run my measley 1kw off my stock 130a. if i get 2 g34s (one front one back) i should be good, correct?

just search on google or ebay for kinetik and it will give you a rough estimate.. so im thinking kinetik is the way to go.. what size for front / back?
