Is that your only battery? What is your alt rated at? Get rid of that cap. The HC600 is too small for the 1000.1 amp. The HC600 is rated for 600W RMS. That is what the model number means. You would be better off with the HC1200 for the 1000.1 and bigger if you add the front stage amp later.
