kinetik and Batcap nuthuggers, what should I buy?!

Gearing up for my first real power system, most likely around 5k burps. Depends on amp, but about 5k-6k

Looking into batteries, and it's hard to decide between brands seeing as everyone swears by a certain brand, and everyone seems to have their own brand.

Limited to 2batts+stock for my Trunk class.

XS? Batcaps? Kenetik? Joe'Butt'F*ck batteries? Deka?

Local competitor switched from 6 deka 9a31's to 8 xs d3100's he is holding a 1/2 volt higher on his burps but for the money he spent I don't see where the gain is worth it as he has 2 more batteries than before. So I feel as the dekas are right up there with the d3100 he will be doing some more test and see what those yield

I have done tons of tests over the years with about every battery setup I could get my hands on. Batcaps always seemed to be the best over all, which is why we now sell batcap. XS was the next to batcap in just about all tests. The UPS batteries were always at the bottom of the tests.

With that said we do have access to C&D and Deka but we never stock them and only use them when there is no other choice for our "budget minded" clients. Normally we just tell them we can not get batteries to fit that budget though.

if you gots the money consider stingers new power2 batteries (red top).

oddesy is making them.....but iv ran xs and kinetik also, never really had a problem with any.

A couple years ago when I was actually in to running higher wattage daily, I had NSB 125s. They have a great output, and kept up with high power daily, though I never see anyone talking about them anymore, nor do I know where you could possibly find them.

Sams CLub has Duracell AGM group 31 batteries for like 100 bucks out eh door. Just puttin it out there

Everyone, just to throw it out there, I am in fact a "budget" customer, I am not going to spend the extra $300 to see .2 of a volt higher.

I'm not going for world class records, I'm going for my lights need to stop dimming and I am dropping to 12.3 on stock battery. Obviously need a upgrade.

I'm sure the "budget" brand will do just fine for my case.

Purchase an alternator, would be my suggestion.

nope they are a bandaid.....and montana u will have to find dealers who have blems locally .not somethin u can buy online..i dont think
