alright so yes im not the smartest but i wonderin if if COULD be done. is there any way of like using 8" subs in your car on like a A/b amp along with a 15 inch sub for bass.

hrmm didnt explain that well.

lets try again.

so i have a 15" Fi Q in the trunk and i wanna upgrade my sound system more because all my mids and door speakers kinda ****. is there any way for me to incorperate 8" woofers in my car as well without ****ing up the 15" sound? hope that makes sense... i not only want a boom in the trunk but an all around nice clean sound with bass hittin on all levels

^^^^^^What he said.

Yes, it's possible, and yes, quite a few people do it.

Simply buy 8" Midbass drivers to pick up your midbass where it's evidentally lacking. Only thing you need to keep in mind is the custom work involved in putting them into your doors and the amount of tuning required, which isnt the most fun part of your day I promise.

long ago I had tens crossed 80-120 maybe 150 and 15s 80-down and it worked out ok. I didn't do it my friend set it up and it came out nice. I only had eclipse 4x10s and 4x6s in the van and those where amped and crossed pretty high to get good volume. Kinda half assed but good results. Just keep the frequencies different from the subs and play around. It will probably be cheaper just to upgrade all the door speakers to something else if they are stock.
