I think even as out of shape as Tyson is, he is still an animal and probblay would maul Kimbo in a standup war with a few months or preparation. But Kimbo would most liekly take it to the ground and submit Tyson pretty easily. But this fight wont happen anyways so it doesnt matter

Tyson before he went crazy. Kimbo isnt anything special. It's not like he's ever fought anyone worth mentioning...He just has KO punch potential, no real skills. Plus he's had his *** kicked a few times by smaller, faster guys. I think even to this day, if Tyson would focus and train for a fight, he could take Kimbo.

I dont know any of the people that he has fought...but I have seen a few clips of him fighting... I know he got knocked out atleast once by some small white dude. Also there are a couple of other fights where his opponent kept pace and didnt get knocked out.

He's just a big lug who has knockout power..it takes more than that in a boxing match or a mixed martial arts type fight.

I don't get the huge hype on Kimbo. He was a backyard fighter that was made big by youtubers.

Shit I know a guy as I have seen him personally almost kill someone that could give Kimbo a run for his money in backyard fighting.

I wanna see him do some other shit than scaring the shit out of people before the match even starts and him throuwing a couple punches.

He went up against some noob and Tank Abbott, who is a brawler out of his prime. I don't care what shape he was in. He is out of his prime, simple as that.

Till he fights anyone worth a shit, he won't get my respect.

Tyson and Slice would be nothing but money and I don't see much different than the Abbott, Slice match. Now if it was a boxing match years ago............come on we all know who would win that one.

This really hits a nerve with me, because MMA is nothing but a money trap, minus UFC. Boxing will always be more prestigous, and just an overall better sport. If you watch the Tyson fights from the 80s, he could have been the best fighter of all time. There has never been a better match of speed and power...ever. Tyson made a series of bad choices when his mentor died, and dropped his trainer for no real good reason, and signed on with Don King. He then became a headhunter, looking for one punch to KO someone, rather than working the body and throwing combos like he did when he was 19 and 20 years old. In his prime, Tyson would have murdered Kimbo, literally. Kimbo is slow and telegraphs punches...Tyson was much quicker in his day...no doubt however that Kimbo would win now...for christs sake Tyson lost his last fight against Danny Williams...
