I would realy like to see him taken out of his game and be able to defend with something besides his striking ability. Tested against a BJJ guy that can neutralize his hands and bring him to the ground. This will tell if he has the makings of a Champion.

I have commented and posted that fight eons ago. Gannon got beat up pretty bad, however he kept coming and took it too him.

All the guys Kimbo has faught professionally have had negative win-to-lose ratios... Tank was retired... and even when he was actually fighting his record was HORRIBLE.

I mean, don't get me wrong, the guy's a beast. Anyone who can K.O. Tank in less than one round is a BEAST. But, he needs to fight someone who's in the top heavyweight, not the bottom portion.

that means hes good..many ppl have k.oed people fast.

kimbo should be a decent fighter in the MMA i dont think he can take on the top strikers though

Dunno about that, he hits so hard, I think the top strikers would be scared after a few hits and try to keep the fight close or on the ground. Imagine a Tim Silvia getting rocked a few times. He's one of the best strikers in the weight class right now and I don't see him picking Kimbo apart with those weak punches that usually wear on most people.
Honestly a jui-jitsu artist stands the best chance against someone like kimbo. Any striker stands a chance of getting knocked the **** out Mike Tyson style, without some quick takedown and very technical groundwork.

Tim Sylvia would murder Kimbo. And there is no top striker that's scared of Kimbo. He's a product of hype. Tank has won a total of 1 fight in a decade. I'll agree he's got pretty good standup, but he beat Tank. And well that speaks for itself.
