Kill a Watt -- Has anyone purchased one?

The local consumer reporter tested it out when they first started showing up, and they work pretty well. They focused on how much power things used when they were turned off, like TVs, entertainment systems, and computers, to encourage people to use surge protectors with off switches.

They sell them at Lowes, Home Depot, and Walmart for $20-$30 if you don't want to order it online.

Lets see I think I've got 3 or 4 of them laying around that I use for various things.

They are great for me when I'm running a small equipment rack and don't want to drag out the Multimeter, I run them with Tripplite ISOBAR power strips so I have some surge protection.

Overall they are pretty accurate, and it is neat to be able to view PF & a few other things.
