If it was a slow, high resistance short it might not have even tripped a fuse, what with the size of the fuzes required for some of todays big amps and all.

Honestly, given the relatively poor install quality Ive personally witnessed in younger peoples autos, I'm very surprised we don't see more of this.

Yeah.. Thats why it was kinda funny.. Some kids car is completely ****ed, b/c he did a shitty install... I mean his install could have looked shitty and all, that doesn't matter.. He just half assed connection wires...

Like I said... It was during the middle of class... It was filmed through school cameras and shown this morning at school.... No one got any pics...

Also is a car starting on fire from electrical issues really that un common?
