kicks sound hollow

playing w/ the eq today trying to get everything to sound right i noticed that between 100-200Hz my 6.5's sound kinda hollow. i was thinking of stuffing some polyfill in it. is this what i need to do ?

yep, I'd try that, midbass doesnt do well in small sealed kicks, it often ends up sounding hollow.

or to port it @ a certain Hz.

and if ported what should i tune to? 100Hz, 80Hz, .....?

port a midbass driver? never heard of that.... I would just recommend drilling a hole in the back so that the rear wave hits the carpet.
