kickpanels and snow

now i want to make some kick panels but i live in pittsburgh, pa and we get a decent amount of snow in the winter and im worried about people getting in my car and getting water all over my speakers how do you guys protect your speakers from rain water or snow. i know speaker grilles would help but i think water would also go right through

well my sis/s cars speakers have no covers and they get wet all the time and it dosent hurt them i dont think it will hurt at all unless your cone material will obsorb water and make shure the back of the speakers dont get wet..thats my feelin

When i bought my speakers, i was told that if even a drop of water got on the tweeter, that it would be ruined (not sure if its true...didn't really trust the guy)
