Kickers and fosgate amp help!

OK i have two 12" Kicker 4ohm CVRs in a sealed box. Then i have this amphttp://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=302163. I was wondering will i be able to run my subs off this amp and if so how should i wire them so i dont blow them. Thanks

I guess you could run it into a 4ohm load, I would just upgrade speakers.

why r u giving advice when u have no clue what ur talkin about?!

2 d4 woofers can be wired either to 1 ohm or 4.

Since I think that amp is only 2 ohm stable ur gonna have to wire it down to 4 ohm, it's the only option.

Thanks, although my only question is how would i wire that, could you send me a diagram or something. Also when i wire the two subs together both at 4 ohms how much watts would each sub be recieving

For thee wattage, google ur amp and find the specs and check to see what it puts out At 4ohms.

At 4ohms you looking at least 375rms to each speaker, but since that amp is under rated it should put out a little bit more.

Correct, your amp puts out 750rms@4ohms

On the birth sheet it says the amp actually does more. So ill probably be getting 375 to 400 per sub. Will that still push my subs decent

actually 800 max. alright thanks, also last question....for now lol. What gauge wired should i use, for ground speaker and what ever else wire. im thinking 8-6

Never look at max specs, rms will give u true wattage.

So ur subs are 400wrms, which means that amp will be perfect.

For wire, use 4 gauge for power and ground. Use 14-16 gauge wire for speakers and remote wire.

OK thanks alot man, your input is def making a difference. what would you say is a better set up one 12" kicker L5 or the two 12" cvrs
