Kicker ZX750.1 question

i have it hooked up to 2 12'' Kicker CVR's at 2 ohms.. it says each CVR is 400 watts rms so does the 750 watts rms from the amp get split in half to 375 watts rms to each? .. Also theres an input level button that says hi or low, whats the better setting for this setup and also do u recommend a good gain & bass boast setting for this setup thanks

hi or low input means it has the capability to accept regular HU output (instead of RCA), hi would be that, low would be rca's

if your running RCA's from your H/U = low

if your tapping your rear speakers for signal = high

bass boost should not exceed 6db gain, ever.

I usually like a 3-4db gain at 38-40 Hz.

buy a dmm and search on how to properly set your gains

ok & about the gain.. it says slighty turn it up till you hear audible distortion. where am i listening for distortion, my speakers or sub or both

i have my amp crossed over at 80 hz on that setup and i'm adjusting my gains for max performance.. would using an 80 hz tone and adjusting gain untill it distorts and backing it up from there be the best way to do it?.. also i have my amp & deck crossed over at 80hz, but i heard since the deck only feeds 80hz (or lower) to the amp anyway, i can just turn the amps crossover to max?
