Kicker ZX550.3???

is the kicker ZX550.3 a good amp???

i will be running a 12w6 at 2 ohms and 6.5" PG RSD Comps.

oh yeah, this is going into a CRX.

if you dont think this is a good amp recommand another 3-channel amp please???

It'll do the job, but something with a little more power for the PG comps would be better. How about a Kicker kx700.5? You can bridge the channels to give you 130wrms x 2, plus 420wrms x 1 for the sub. hifisoundconnection.com has refurbs with a 90 day warranty for $260.

People on here give them 120-150w RMS all the time. They're power hungry little things.

since we are talking about 5 channels what about the eclipse XA5000

4 ohms: 50 watts x 4 chan. + 300 x 1 chan.

2 ohms: 75 watts x 4 chan. + 450 watts x 1 chan.

Bridged, 4 ohms: 150 watts x 2 chan
