Kicker ZX1500.1

Just had a couple questions about this amp, hopefully some of the kicker guys will chime in. I was wondering if it will handle a 1ohm load DAILY, and if anyone has tested it (kicker guys??), how much current it usually pulls. Thanks for any help.

pretty sure it's only 2 ohm stable.

Yea thats what the box says. But I've been hearing it should ok at 1ohm. Just trying to get an official word.

wouldnt also hurt to try calling them and speak with a tech to get a 2nd opinion

Im currently runnin one at 1ohm Daily and its great.

Not as efficient as the KX2500.1 I had at 1 ohm but this thing puts out alot at 1 ohm DCR and runs fine Daily at it.

I will be sellin it soon once I get my BIG AMP Here.But Id say it make over or close to 2K at 1 ohm.

i have that amp and have 2 optima yellow tops(one in the trunk). Mt crossfire vr1000d made my lights dim so i got both batteries to make sure i have no problems
