Kicker Zx1000.1

I'm still looking for a decent amp to power my four 12'' kicker cvrs. So far my best bet has been the hifonics BXi-2010D, but today I came across the zx1000.1 on ebay for $70 more. Will this be a good match with those subs? I know their rated at 400w a piece but this amp is CEA rated at 1000w@2ohms. Would I be better off with this amp or the Hifonics? BTW their going in an 8cf ported enclosure @40hz.

Hifonics would get my vote, nothing against kicker and their good amps but its over priced

The Hifonics will do more power, Kicker is more reliable.

Get the Hifonics.

what ohm are your subs?

The subs are DVC 4ohm, so I will run the four at 2ohms. I guess I'll go with the Hifonics, won't hurt my budget too much.
