I searched and read, but I still have a few questions.

They put out an average of 1200 rms by the birth sheet... What does "good" electrical consist of that I might run one at 1 Ohm? I'm currently running an aq1200d and voltages stay above 13.8 at full tilt, 105 amp alt with big two, and two runs of hyperflex 4 gauge...

Could I run a 1000.1 at 1 ohm for daily ground pounding? And could I expect around 1600rms @ 1Ohm if i did? Thanks

if the birthsheets claim 1200wrms, how can you expect 1600?

and what you have should be fine on 1200wrms. If you start having dimming issues then add a battery in the rear.

they arent 1 ohm stable. u need a different amp to run at 1ohm

Birthed 1200 rms @ 2ohms, I'm talk about 1 Ohm.. and ya I'm fine now with 1200 rms and my 400 rms highs, looking for more powa.

I know that, but a lot of people have run them at 1 with good luck because they're strong amps..

Any other thoughts RE: the first post?

SAZ-1500D > ZX1000.1 AND the Sundown is 1 ohm stable no prob, hell you could run it at .5 ohm without probs but not covered under warranty. Don't spend the $$$ on the ZX unless you can get it really really cheap or already have it.

An alternator upgrade might be necessary if you were running headlights, and AC Fans on high while bumping your chit at full volume.... 105 amp probably would not be enough, 200 amp would be best.
