Kicker ZX or Alpine MRD?

Kicker ZX 750.1 or Alpine MRD-605 to power a w6 (recommened 400rms). The Alpine puts out 400@4 ohms and the kicker does 375@4ohms... At first i liked the Alpine, but have read some stuff about them overheating...do you guys think that that is an issue? Im going to be running my sub at 4 ohms as well. So which amp do you think will run this sub best...

Im looking for the amp that will provide the CLEANEST power and can take being played a full volume w/o overheating. Also, the sub is a 12" and will be in a sealed box w/ probably 1.1 or 1.2 cf. Thanks.

ok man please explain how you get a clean watt? I can understand wanting an amp that will continue to give rated power for a long period of time, but wtf is CLEAN power?

A low level of distortion at rated power (low thd).

The kicker will probably be underrated, and if it's anything like the zx2500.1, it's a very solid amp.

Ive owned zx 1000.1s/1500.1s and 2500.1s they all are great amps.

At first, I was sure on Alpine. It's just, ive read a thread or two about the MRD amps heating up and since im buying online w/ no warranty i dont really feel like taking any chances. I currently have an Alpine MRP-250 powering my front comps (bridged to 100x2 @ 4 ohms) and that thing gets VERY hot to the touch when ive been playing my music moderatly loud for like 10 mins, and ive been told that it shouldnt be getting that hot...I would prefer the Alpine if I was sure it wasnt going to have any probelms because i can get it local for the same price is it is on ebay (still no warranty tho) so im not sure which one to go with...

Turn down gains and it will last forever and if you upgrade you have the amp already.

is it a 12W6v2? If so it can handle more than 400RMS. I'm looking for a JL 500/1 to run a 12W6v2 and they supposedly put out around 600watts.
