kicker zx amps cut in and out...

i just got my new system done a zx2500.1 and zx650.4 everything is new except the 650 but anyways when i turn it up it clips in and out the 650 does it more than the 2500 like i was playing a song with no bass at the beginning and when it kicked in the 650 shuts off....im thinking its a power issue but im looking for some advice before i buy 4 gel batteries...its not the wiring or rcas just replaced all old with new,i only have 2 american bass 6.5 to the 650 right now there 8ohm vc each..the solo x 18 is wired at 2 ohm,i have a 220 amp alt.0 gauge wire for the most part,and the remote turn on from my kenwood double din is not enogh to turn on the amps so its coming from the ignition..so any help would be great...thanks

have you thought about using a dmm to check if your voltage is dropping?

umm no not yet but i do have a voltage meter inside the car and it dosent go below 13v and 12v when the compressors are on but i will do that tomorrow ill test it at the 650.thanks

So the voltage at the 2500 drops down to around 10 volts

So now my next question would be how many batteries do you
