I've had one of these in my boat for a couple years now.It was pushing a 05 C12 4ohm svc in a custom ported downfiring enclosure.I do believe it was running bridged. It sounded fantastic.
I have 4 deep cycles and a generator so voltage is not too much an issue. What is an issue is the amount of time it plays. It will often play for a couple hours straight. The C12 fried a coil one night.I say that cause the C12 smelled burnt and the cone wouldn't move and of course no sound at all.You could push the cone in with enough pressure but it would make some pretty bad crunching sounds.
I replaced it with an older SVC 4ohm 12" Type R I had laying around.Same wiring bridged at the amp.It sounds okay but not as good as the little C12.
I'm thinking about buying another CVR12 to replace the Type-R 12".Then just sell the two Type-R 12's I have.
If this little ZR360 will run 2ohm bridged stable then what CVR12 should I get?
Am I thiking correctly that I can run a DVC 4-ohm CVR12 parallel to the ZR360 bridged or is that going to knock it down to a 1ohm mess?
Also does anyone know if these ZR360's are supposed to come with a bass knob?Mine does not have one but I have a pic of one with a harness hanging out on the power/ground/remote side.I'd go look at mine but the boat is too big to keep at my house and stays in storage.
Thx for the help..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
