Kicker ZR1000 problem

I have a zr1000 and a zr120. I hooked both up(one at a time) too see if they work. Well the 120 didnt work. I got a hiss sound out of the speaker. So I hooked up the 1000. Same thing. I used the same x-over for both. My sister took the other one home by accident. So could the problem be the crossover? I took the back covers off and nothing looks fried of anything. Both power up fine with the ever so loud "click". Also have a zx750.1 in my truck. It works fine. So its not the HU, wiring or rca's. Any input could be helpful. Will be getting a new x-over soon. Thanks.

Get the other crossover from your sister. Hopefully its just a bad crossover.

It turned out to be the crossover. Put in a zrx and its beating the hell out of my L7.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Oh happy day. Got a 360 off of Ebay for 44 dollars. He said it didnt work and that it goes into protection when turned on. Got it today. Hooked her up. Its beating the L7 up too!!! Great buy I think. Zr120 for $35, 360 for $44, and a 1000 f0r $255.
