Kicker x3i crossover....Any good?

You going to need something else, the Kicker is a old school design with (2) highpass crossover outputs. Even though it has enough adjustments on the front HP to cover your tweeters well, it will not bandpass the rear HP for you midrange speakers.

A new deck would be a better option, allowing you to do tuning from the driver seat. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

However, if your attached to your current unit, Memphis X03 (i believe is the model number) is a good unit that I have personally used to go active with. Easy to set up and adjust, if you dont mind a few trips back and forth from the driver's seat to the trunk lol.

That's kinda what I figured. The front and rear have the same frequency filter. Not really great.. I want a Alpine 9887. I currently have a 9856. Its not a bad deck but I need something better to control my amp and front stage. Where would I get a preout from for the amp on my rear doors if I run the fronts active off that 5 channel?
