Kicker Warhorse

That amp is not listed as .5 ohm stable and it's rated to do good power at 1 ohm, I don't want to "try it out" because it isn't my money and frankly that amp is not enough to power four Solo-Xs IMO. I would rather get one new instead of from someone because it seems like all the used big amps for sale have seen some low voltage(11v is low to me) and I really don't like that.
The DD amp is definitely .5ohm stable. All I see for ratings on the Warhorse are 10k at 2ohm, which is fantastic. If you can get a good deal on it for sure go for it mang! CRX will give you a great deal from the looks of it too.

Well I want to keep it just one amp because there are limited trunkspace in a 98 Lincoln Continental and I still need space for a large 4 channel amp and a shittons of gel cell batteries, he also wants to keep his backseat in place.

Wait...how are you going to fit a warhorse, a 4 channel, a box that's going to be at least 12 cubes and those batteries in a trunk...?

Well the box isn't going to be 12 cubes... probably more like 9 or so, we built the box in two sections with fiberglass and the batteries are going on the side of the wheel well and the amps are going right behind the backseat. The Lincoln Continental has a pretty large trunk but it is going to be packed full once done, the box is not going to be able to come out once it's done haha.

We'll see once he actually hands me the keys and we can all brainstorm, my buddy has the money to blow on crazy stuff so maybe I'll go with a bunch of batcap 8400 or something. He has a high output alt but I think he might need two for what he wants to run.

This is going to be a full-time job of a project once I get it going... I'm pretty excited and worried at the same time because I've never done something this extensive before by myself.

two of my teammates had warhorse's and didn't like them....I'd pass on it
switched to dc 9k's and never looked back

What did they not like about it? It is pretty big for one thing, like wider than I really like it to be.

we have a local guy doing 161.7 with 2 dc level 6 18s and dc 9ks and he is not impressed with the equipment.....the score is simply install and luck. the amps are way to power hungry. my 2 warhorses with 8 kin 2400s and a 135 amp stock alt will play music daily and his 2 dc 9ks with 8 big shurkens and 275 amp alt drop from 14.9 to 11.4 on one burp! the warhorses are rated at 2 ohm but its virtually 1 ohm because its basically 2 5k amps strapped. has push pull design. 1 dual 2 ohm sub is 2 ohm on warhorse. 2 dual 4 ohm is 2 ohm and 4 dual 2 ohm is 2 ohm. 2 dual 2 ohm is 1 ohm and the warhorse runs this daily perfect just only does 5k instead of 10k. I know this as an owner of the warhorse amps for 3 years now with no problems. The war horse is a very efficient amp for its size! I am not by any means a kicker fan, this is the only kicker product that has ever impressed me! I would suggest these amps to anyone! I am a Sundown Audio Dealer and will be swapping out to the NS-1 amps shortly but am looking for 1 more warhorse for a customer's wall build i am just starting. If anyone has one please PM with price shipped to 58503. Thanks
