My friend is using the Wal-mart Boxs where he bought the Sony amp and Xplod

Subs....... I just do not get it at all something is wrong I am sure but I can't figure out what.

thats your problem... those subs need more air space and sound better in a ported box.

you should get a sub that doesn't need that much air space.

cvr means comp volume reduced but its a huge lie they want at least 1.5 ported never sound good sealed

I wish I would of kept my cVr'z. Went with typeR'z - I had mine in a sealed [00] It was still loud using 1k watts & my burban's roof came alive on low notes. I never tried em on my new ported box, now that I've read a lot on how loud they can be ported.
