they're both around 250 retail

spl3004 will have more SQ than the L5, they'll be the same loudness as each other.

The pioneer can get as loud if not louder than the L5 and sound a lot better.

my vote goes for the L5. i think the cvr is more comparable to the 3004, imo, some may disagree, but from wha i have tested and seen, thats my view on it

From what I've been hearing, the 3004spl's are up there with the L7's. A few people hear have them, maybe they'll give some info, but if you read around, you notice some members say the 306's are better than the cvr's. I personally have 2 cvr's right now, but i'm getting 2 3004spls in a week or so.

i totally agree, we are a kicker retailer at my work, and we have CVR's l5's and l7's, and the SOLOX, and the pioneerspl isn't as loud as the L7, but it's louder tahn the l5.. better quality than anything kicker makes.. all of this is install dependant... but thats my basic view.
