Kicker vs. Fosgate vs. Alpine

I am researching for my new system, will be a low budget setup, 300-500 watts. How would you rate these three brands in terms of quality and power output (close to stated, under or overrated)? Not sure on the models, haven't picked a sub yet. Thanks.

PM sent craigzter. I have an alpine head unit. More than likely I will be running an Elemental Designs sub. Factory Mach 460 amp and speakers, don't plan on replacing them. Only wanting info on their amps. Thanks.

All 3 make good amps. Kicker and alpine make bigger mono amps than alpine. Whats wrong with the mono amp from eD?

I have ran all three brand of amps and all of them have been underrated and have not had a single problem with each. I have had an alpine mrd-m300 rated at 312rms, alpine mrd-m605 rated at 650rms, fosgate p302 rated at 350rms, kicker zx250.2 rated at 313rms, and a kicker zx750.1 rated at 925rms. Also never a single problem with any of them.

The ED amps I have seen are to much money compared to the ones mentioned here. I thought all 3 were good, nice to hear that they really are.
