My friend has 3 12 CVR's, I have a Type R, SQ is Alpine, but the Kickers also had very good SQ but they were also louder. (duh 3 vs. 1 no brainer)

ok can I ask first, do you have a budget?

 

next, are you going for SPL or SQ? (loudness or quality) or nice mixture?

 

are you willing to try a smaller company that your friends might not have that would impress other people with a new name ?

 

just wanted to help open your options up to other things out there, the Kickers are great subs for the money, but just wanted to add some more options for you

I plan on gettin 3 compvrs 10s for about 230 shipped. They get loud and should have decent sq

now that I talked to you, we need a 12 that is SVC4 or DVC2, or a pair of good priced 12's that are SVC2 or DVC4, so we can show your amp a 4 ohm mono,

Both the polk and the inf. sound real good (sq wise)
