Kicker Tuning Suggestion

I used to have a 15" L7 which i just recently sold and replacing it will be two 12" cvx's. My L7's box was tuned to 32hz and murdered the lows but lacked alot in the higher end notes. Should I tune the cvx's to 35hz considering thats what most people tune their kickers to?

in the manual(sp) i know it has the min and, max for sealed and, ported boxes. dont quote me on this but i think alot of people say 34Hz.

you could tune it at whatever you want. the response curve will get peaky the higher you tune, and the bottom end will drop off sooner.

its up to you.. if you want more upper-end response, tune higher than you did before. if its too high, build another box.

You're better off tuning around 32hz and making the box a little on the small side. About 1.75-2.0 cubic feet per sub and about 20 in^2 of port for each. That should give you some upper bass extension.
