^^^400 Per side....you should be able to get away with what the kicker is putting out easy...just becareful where you cross them over at....and I must warn...infinitis are HARSH

Kicker SX600.2, 300watts per channel, I know it will be overrated as all the Kickers all, so should i get something a notch down like the 500.2?

would the 600.2 be close to damaging them?

can anyone verify that this will be a good amp for my component set, and won't damage them before i order it? 275 watts per channel (2 channel) but it will be overrated to prolly like a 600.2 amp so about 300 per channel

and you're positive its 400watts max PER door speaker?

150w per side would be plenty for those Kappas. 400w per side is ridiculous. Go by the 100w RMS rating, not the max rating. They could take 400w max for a brief moment, few seconds maybe at the most.

Te 550.2 is definately pushing it...Overkill if you ask me. I dont think you know how 150 per side sounds....should be pretty **** loud with most components out there...loud enough for hearing damage, or loss if your playing the right tone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif The 400.2 would be fine....just set your gains right, right before they distort if your doing it by ear....any particular reason why your going with kicker?

Edit: WHy not try that 150.2 you have in your sig? You may like the results and save some cash...unless thats what your running right now...do you already have the comps and your just looking for more power?

i only have the choice between a Kicker KX450.2 and a Kicker KX550.2, because a ebay store owes me a refund and i have to choose one.
