For $320 shipped you can get a Audioque 2200D, its its not over ur budget that is. Does 2200 rms at 14.4 volts.

Unless you just love Kicker, i would do a little more shopping around. you could definetly do better for the money

Id look into buying a used sundown saz-1500d. Jake benched them out at around 1900rms at 1.23 ohms on 12.4v. Killer little maps and Iv seen them run used in mint condition for around 300 shipped. Make sure oyu get one with the new heat sink desighn.

Iv ran my two down to 1/2 ohm strapped daily and they take it like a champ and put out hella power.

Also keep it in mind that the birth sheet from kicker was done at a solid 14.4 volts. The sundown test is on a normally daily 12 volt setup.

U need to go back and read that post again, he started off with 6 Stinger SPV-70 batts, 240 amp alt, engine at idle. sub's at .5 ohms

And the results where 1970 watts with a rise to 1.23 ohms, and voltage droping to 12.85.. as you can see he didn't start at 12 volts, he started off at 14 + volts.
