Kicker Solo X question

Dude, you have a 140-amp alt with a 1200 watt amp and it's killing your electrical system????OMG, I have a 110-amp factory alt and when I had my DEI 2400d @ 2-ohm (2400+ watts) plus my Kicker KX300.2 amp, I don't even have dimming lights. Of course, the lights dim very very little at idle and the dome light but that's it. my buddy has a kicker solox 18" and its powered by a mtx 1501D...maybe two of them, im not sure. I absolutely hate it so in no way am I favoring this sub, but it's the loudest sub i've ever heard. He has a durango and it nearly fills out the whole back/trunk. He has not upgraded his electrical system, he doesnt know too much about that kinda stuff.
anyways I listened to it for about 30seconds to a minute and I had a headache all day. i think he said it was 150db...not sure on which mic though.
