honestly guys... i already bought the system, now i feel like an **** idiot. Please tell me this will provide with at least some good bass... at least to where i can really feel it.... tell me something positive here!

Run it ported tuned to 32 hertz and you should get some good chest rumbling bass.

ok no harm done. I am a huge fan of sealed enclosures, but the L7 actually sounds tighter in a ported enclosure...go figure.

i agree i sold it to a friend and he put it in a vented enclosure and ran it off the same power and it was without a doubt 2x louder

If i just bought a regular box off the shelf... you know, just a simple 1.3 cubic ft box for the kicker sub... how would that sound? I know it is not tuned to anything specific.

It's like 1.3 cubic ft ported... it's got a big long thing in the front that lets the air out i guess.
