Kicker S10L5 2ohm and Kicker KX450.2

I am on a really tight budget and saw this online. I was wondering if it would be a good pairing.

It is just one Kicker s10l5 at 2 ohms and the kx450.2 amp. This is my first sub and i want it to hit hard, but i'm not looking to win any competitions with it.

So would this amp be ok to power just one sub? Would it hit pretty hard? SOund clear? Deep bass?

Thanks guys.

ok thanks.

but what about the system I'm looking at? Is it ok? First time sub user here... heh. I am most likely going to upgrade the amp later on the down the road, but this is it right now.... so if anybody can tell me some more specifics on this system that would be awesome!

will if your looking for SQ i'd go with the atlas (hint thats whats in my avatar) i've owned a l5 and it got decently loud with aobut 500 watts on it but it just didn't sound all that great it would be a great first system, it may not be the loudness your looking for from a 10 though

what kinda car do you have? the solobarics are known for there output and "bass" but they're not the best sounding woofer in the world
I take it you have not had any personal experience with them. If you had, and if they got the power they need you would retract your statement. Look, I'm not trying to be a prick its just that 90% of people that run L5's or L7's don't give them the power they need. They need a big ported enclosure tuned between 33 and 36 hertz. I gaurantee if people would do this they would see what these subs can do.

They need power to sound good. Mechanically they need about 75% more power than rated rms. Sit back and enjoy the ride.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
