you could get 2 btl 18's fully loaded to take alot more power than the l7's. but the l7's have more cone area.

i personally would hit up the Fi

How about in a good box in his SUV with proper power which set up has the most SPL potential???

He's got 3 L7's now and it's not loud enough, so I'm not sure how much of a diff a 4th will add vs going to 2 18" BTL's as we all know that cone area isn't everything...

It could be plenty loud given the right set-up. My old wagon was well over a 150 w/ 2 15L7's and 1 XX Goliath.

He's also tuned at 32Hz, so should it be tuned higher?

Idk thats a tough one, but i would say get the two 18" Fi's.

A little higher, he was peaking in car about 30-31 hz, you want it closer to 40hz.

I say 4 L7 15s > 2 Fi 18s.
