kicker or eclipse

i was wondering which amp would be better for running a set of comps. i have decided on either an eclipse ea2212 or a kicker kx200.2....... the kicker is 70x2 at 4 ohms and the eclipse is 50x2 at 4 ohms. i know the kicker says its louder but eclipse is also underated from what i have heard. right now i have a memphis 70.2 amp running my speakers and its loud...alot louder than my head unit but its not really keeping up with my subs. and the memphis is only 35x2 at 4 ohms...... so what do u think would be better at running a set of comps. thanxs alot

if both are underrated by say 20%, you have

Kicker 84x2

Eclipse 60x2

i used to run a kicker kx350.4 on my speakers and it did a fine job. underrated, and would probably put out more power then the eclipse. worked great till it broke and kicker fixed it and it still didn't work. it was also a factory refurb so it was fixed 3 times and still didn't work.

I would go with the KICKER.

okay so the kicker also i found a jl or jbl that said loud+clear on it.....would this be a good one just to run a set of comps. up front....... but like i said right now there getting 35 watts and taht is pretty loud.. but i wanted something a bit more and i like the looks of the kicker better.. also how about a diamond d5300.2........ all of my other amps are diamond so this one would fit right in.

all those would work...and if you have Diamond, you can match...but look at all, price them and pick which you like...you have some good choices there.
