Kicker or Alpine?

Ive decided to go with Boston Z6 speakers, just one set for the front and disregard the rear stage. Ive narrowed the amps down to either a kicker on an apline. Heres the moldes i was thinking.

Alpine PDX 4.150 -or- Kicker Zk850.4

I plan to bride the 4 channel into a 2 channle to get the most power out of them for the 2 bostons. If there is another that you suggest in the same price range than let me know, other thank that thanks for all your help. Also please be detailed in telling me which one over the other.

Alpine.

Why, because its so friggin small.

The kicker has more power bridged, but its to big. You probably wont even come close to maxing out the gains on either amp anyways.

P.S

where are you in cali ?

i can get the pdx amps for pretty cheap

Everyone keeps saying alpine but there still hasnt been any valid reasons. The kicker even has a higher rated 2 ohm power rating, the alpine has the same rating for both the 4ohm and 2ohm. I appreciate the suggestions but can you please back it up a lil? Thanks. I live in OC by the way.

PDX for sure.... Less current draw. Run usually cooler with thier ICE technology. and as someone already mentioned, they're super small.
Kicker Dimensions: 9-5/8" x 2-1/8" x 23-1/4" (WHL) 120A fuse

Alpine Dimensions: 10-3/16"W x 2-1/2"H x 8-7/8"D 60A fuse

Over 1/2 the length and 1/2 the current...

Power isnt everything...

I highly doubt your speakers will take 425W each and last a week on that kicker.

Heck, even the 300w from the PDX is much more than enough.

Hmm good info so far, size isnt a big issue. What ive been told is that the Rms on those Bostons is 400 wats. The kicker claims to give out 425 wats, the alpine says that it doesnt run any different in 2 or 4 ohm settings. Id rather be a lil over powered than under. Still not sure which one, on asthetics and size the alpine is better on power the kicker seems better. The alpine also looks like a newer amp with the mosfet built into it, dont think the kicker has that. And does the current draw make that much of a difference, because i see that the fuse is twice the size.

Well ive been reading and it seems that the alpine PDX 4.150 is unstable at 2 ohm bridged, my question is, will it work at 3 ohms or will it destroy the amp. I really wanna use this amp, but i am afraid that it wont work with the 3 ohm load presented by the boston z6's. Thanks for any help.
