Kicker, MTX, SI other?

Currently i have 2 15" kicker L5's in a ~14ft^3 ported box in the back of my 4runner. this **** thing takes up the whole back and is as high as the back seats so i need some rear cargo space. ive been looking into high output subs that use relatively small enclosures. so far ive been looking into subs less than 400 dollars. ones being considered right now are the MTX 9500 15, and Stereo Integrity magnum D2.

anyone know...

-how these will compare to the spl of the 2 kickers?

-any other subs that i should consider?

-any other info that'll be helpful

if ur used to high SPL woofers like kicker solo's check into the Incriminator audio Death penalty. But if you want SQL Magnum

a single 4.5 cube box would be good for a IA DP , his current box is huge 14 cubes a bit much . Depends on what ur after most high ens subs we suggest around here dont need anything bigger the 4.5 cubes . Which will give you room alot mroe then ur 14 cubes lol .

hmm, i think of the orion H2 when small boxes are mentioned. just because it doesnt need a large box at all to reach full potential in spl. also the tuning of the box doesnt have to be high at all for full potential in spl either.

just change your box to 3.0 per driver...no need for a 14 cu ft enclosure...
