Kicker Monoblock amp question...

I have a Kicker ZX300.1 amp and will be installing a new Sony XAVW1 HU (still on order) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The HU has a single RCA output for the sub amp, but the amp has both Left and Right inputs...

The manual for the amp doesn't specify whether or not I can use a single input or if I have to use both //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif

I guess I'll have to pickup a Y-splitter, but I'm just wondering if it's really necessary //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

the hu will have left and right outputs...you shouldn't have to buy anything except a set of rca's
