so i'm thinkin

two 12" L7's with zx1500.1

or two 12" CVX with zx1500.1

or two 10" CVX with zx1000.1 slightly underpowered, so i was thinking screw the 1200 rms and put the zx1500.1 to it

truely how much louder are L7's over CVX's, square vs. round...

and how much better do CVX's sound over L7's... kinda goes both ways ha

both will be in professionally built custom boxes

They'll both probably be just as loud as one another but the cvx I heard sound pretty good. I'd go with the CVX.

CVX sounds amazing on 1000 rms, gets loud and low, although my buddys L7 was slightly louder than my cvx but his L7 sounded like ***

yaaaaa, that's kinda what i was thinking, like a week ago or so i was all for L7's then i came to the conclusion that kicker square subs sound $hitty, and almost anything with 1500 watts will be plenty loud and the cvx's won't sound like poop

i got that setup in my truck 2 cvx in a sealed box with a zx 1500 pushing them and they sound real good

sealed vs. ported???

i've heard ported is what really makes it bump and able to hear from a distance, while sealed is more tight kicks

so almost sealed = sq

ported = spl???

just as a rough comparison
