Kicker L7 vs Type-R vs Other?

i may consider going the SPL route if funds are available this winter. the space im working with are 33" width/20" depth/15" height which is a honda civic trunk. at the moment, looking for a single driver (preferably 15"). car is daily driven therefore im looking for acceptable SQ. definately going ported.

with the given space, what sub would you recommend? budget: $300

L7 they sound like crap but get so loud! hard 2 15's in the trink of a Cadillac it hart!

i got a box for a single 15in type R. Its the loudest box for a civic trunk with out a doubt. Pm if interested.

i use to be a type r junky untill i heard re audio subs. these subs can handle way more power than rated. i put a re12 and beats like crazy. i would get a se15 or sx15 in a sealed box.
