kicker l7 blown?

i bought a kicker l7 about 4 months ago and now all of the sudden it quick working today. i have it running off of a kicker kx1200.1 at 4 ohms. i started looking at it and couldnt get it to work until i push the cone in. i push it in and it works until i stop pushing on it. then it just quits. i know it is getting power. what do you think is wrong with it? it also makes a rattling noise like something is loose.

Is it locked up? (cone not moving) If so, its blown...

no the cone doesnt really move. is it fixable if the cone is locked up?

It would be blown, and require a recone...

It is a broken coil. I had the same problem with one of my subs.
