if they both have the same accordion-style surround, then yes. If they're different looking lighter-gray cones with non accordion-style surround, then they're 04's.. and a lot of people would say that version is inferior to the 05 version.

Yes they are the same, Alpine changed their HU lineup, some amps, and some CO-Ax speakers. Everything else is the same
