kicker l7 8" or other subs?

what do you guys think about kicker l7 8's are they worth the money. and can they really handle 450 watts? i had two boston competitor 8's rated at 500 watts rms and blew one. Im running them off of two alpine mrd-301 v12 amps. does any one know of any good 8" subs?

Not sure about the wattage but me and a friend put one in his bro's single cab ranger

with a 300wrms pioneer amp and it did real good for its size, and sounded decent too. Imo

Yea they can handle the power, saw 2 L7 8s taking a Kicker ZX1000.1 @ 2ohms(1k rms) with no problems.

 

IMO if ur gonna spend that money on the L7 8, i'd spend a lil more and buy sum DD 1508s or AQ SD8s if u can find them. The DD would laugh at that amount of power, i've heard of people throwing almost 1k daily to them.

get a ported box for a 8"l7 and people will think you've got a **** 12" sub from just hearing it!!!!

my Soundsplinter 8's are rated at like 400rms, but i have 800 a piece and all three of them like it.
