Kicker l7 12 problem

Don't push on the cone side to side... you're sure to do more damage... pull the sub and check the v/c's with a DMM... Then reconnect everything ensuring proper connection... just sounds like a loose connection to me too... Also, are your RCA's secure?
X2 check out the voice coils with a DMM and make sure their reading correct

 
i didnt buy from them just got it installed thier,but i got my first sub installed thier that worked for about 3 weeks then it blew then i got this one 2 days ago and now its doing this.
Hmm,sounds like they are not setting the gains right if this has happened before.It sux cuz you really dont know if the installer is qualified.I dont think circuit city requires any schooling?Might be something worth looking into.Good luck
