Kicker L5 Recone questions

Yea last night I lent my boy 2 of my subs and he fried them...brand new and they were mine,so he wants to get them reconed for me.How do I go about doin this?Talk to kicker?Can I do it myself?Is it cheaper to just by a new sub?? Thanks for any help.

yes it does, kicker doesn't recone cheaply (at leest i'm pretty sure)
