I have a 6" door speaker w/ 1" alum. tweeter and passive crossover component set. Is a Kicker KX800.2 amp to powerful for this set?

I have see them before, but I am not sure if they still have them. I am actually going to try and get my hands on a championship hat/tshirt at the bookstore. I'll let you know if I see any.
